I am writing to you Reader, while sipping a cup of coffee at 01.10 am on my laptop in Nairobi and it hit me,

Exactly 5 years ago, I was in the exact same position you might be in right now.

I kept seeing people show me pay checks from jobs online, but honestly… it just felt confusing.

There were too many options.
Too many videos.
Too many people saying different things.

I tried a few things here and there, but nothing really made sense.

If you are in that same situaton, don't make the mistake of trying everything like I did, instead, do this

  1. Platforms: Fiverr, Upwork​
    What matters: your profile and first few gigs
  2. Platforms: Preply, Cambly​
    This is where I started and my personal recommendation. what matters here is just stable internet connection, fluent English and teaching skills.
  3. Simple remote tasks (entry level) : Things like data entry, virtual assistance, content posting.

Reader, don't be like most people, analyse yourself, pick one and stick to it untill you figure it out, that confidence will go a very long way.
