The secret to pricing your digital skills (Stop selling yourself short)

The fear of charging too much is real. I understand it.

But here is the secret that changed my life:
If you charge 5 dollars, you get 5-dollar clients. If you charge 50 dollars, you get 50-dollar clients.

The 5-dollar client is usually a headache. They complain more, they demand more time, and they respect your work less.

The 50-dollar or 500-dollar client is different. They value quality, they respect your time, and they are far easier to work with.

Here is the Secret to Pricing:

  1. Price for the Result, Not the Hour​
    A website is not worth 50 dollars because it took 10 hours to build. It is worth 500 dollars because it can help the client make 5,000 dollars in sales.
  2. Anchor High​
    When you share a price, always mention the full value first. For example:
    "The market rate for this service is around 1,000 dollars, but for you, it is 600."
  3. Know Your Worth​
    Your African context is an advantage, not a discount code. You are offering global quality, and clients are paying for impact, not geography.
